About the position:

The Program Coordinator will play a vital role in the operations and relationship management of programs for our international medical students and graduates as well as our US school partners. This position will be a liaison with physicians and their administrators to ensure program quality, document collection, and vetting of eligibility requirements. They are responsible for all essential administrative functions, including program creation and maintenance, to ensure all program information is correct and updated on AMO’s platform. This position will also ensure compliance with clinics, hospitals, and/or medical facilities, including but not limited to supporting the screening of immunization requirements, student documents, and other program documents to ensure all program standards are met.    

While this position can be fully remote, we are looking for candidates to be residents of Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, New York, Florida, or Alabama only.

Essential Functions: 

  • This role requires calling physicians and their team on the phone or via video conferencing.

  • Writing strategic emails that hold weight. Content must be engaging to the audience of prospective and/or current preceptors.  

  • Building and maintaining a good relationship with preceptors and administrators to ensure customer satisfaction and success.  

  • Developing an understanding of preceptor and/or student challenges and demonstrating a positive, proactive, solution-based approach to resolving and/or anticipating challenges.  

  • Collaborating closely and developing strong working relationships with other AMO team members.   

  • Composing compelling program copy and content that reflects our students’ needs.  

  • Coordinating documents – reviewing, organizing, and confirming documents submitted by medical trainees.   

  • Credentialing of physicians and medical professionals to ensure compliance with state licensing boards and relevant certifications. 

  • Growing and maintaining a knowledge base of healthcare, medical education, and our evolving products and services.  

  • Supporting the onboarding and re-onboarding of programs onto AMO’s platform. 

  • Collaborating on department projects aimed at streamlining processes, engaging our audience of prospective and/or current preceptors, and fulfilling data-driven goals and KPIs. 

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • An understanding of our partner’s needs, culture, and objectives.   

Education & Experience:

  • Experience communicating with medical professionals and previous healthcare experience (clinical or medical education). 

  • Interest in healthcare or medical education. 

  • Experience managing multiple tasks. 

  • A bachelor’s degree or a minimum of three years of experience in the relevant field.

Bonus: 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office  

  • Experience with CRM software, Slack, Trello, and Hubspot is a plus
