About the position:

The International Account Executive is responsible for driving B2B sales growth by establishing and expanding partnerships with international medical schools, healthcare institutions, and organizations. This role will focus on leveraging AMO’s clinical training capabilities to develop institutional partnerships and increase revenue through strategic deal-making and business development efforts. 

You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and managing a pipeline of institutional sales opportunities, guiding potential partners through the sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Your work will involve market research, outreach strategy execution, and collaboration with internal teams to support new partner engagement, contract negotiation, and implementation. Occasional international and domestic travel may be required.  

While this position can be fully remote, we are looking for candidates to be residents of Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, New York, Florida, or Alabama only.

Essential Functions: 

  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire and expand B2B partnerships with international medical schools, hospitals, and related organizations 

  • Identify, qualify, and manage a pipeline of high-value institutional prospects to achieve revenue targets

  • Conduct outreach, lead presentations, and deliver AMO’s sales pitch to decision-makers at medical schools and healthcare organizations 

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with partner institutions, ensuring long-term collaborations

  • Attend industry conferences, webinars, and networking events to represent AMO and generate new business opportunities 

  • Research and analyze global medical education trends to identify emerging market opportunities

  • Build an active directory of key personnel at healthcare education institutions and develop engagement strategies

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create sales enablement assets, such as partner-specific landing pages, presentations, and outreach materials

  • Manage relationships with existing partners, ensuring ongoing engagement and identifying growth opportunities 

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation of partnership agreements 

  • Use HubSpot to track sales activities, manage CRM data, and document key action items from partner meetings

  • Optimize communication and sales processes to improve efficiency in partner acquisition and retention 

  • Provide thought leadership in team meetings and contribute insights to refine AMO’s global sales approach

  • Other duties as assigned 

Education/ Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field  

  • Research experience in international markets and/or in the medical education field preferred   

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus    

  • Strong writing skills    

  • High initiative, flexibility, and team approach to work    

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with others   

  • Quick learner with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively    

  • Strong research skills preferred    

  • Experience with all aspects of partnership cycle (identification, negotiation, ongoing management) and developing external relationships  

  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google applications specifically Excel   

  • Self-starter and results-oriented with the ability to focus on and meet deadlines and goals   

  • Exceptional time-management, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks  

  • Knowledge of marketing and partnership software systems not required but a plus: HubSpot, Pipedrive, Trello, OneDrive, etc.    

What You Gain:

  • Compensation for this role is a combination of salary and commissions. $65,000 to $85,000 base salary annually, and commission structure tied to the achievement of KPIs and revenue goals.
