About the position:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing company. This is not a plug-and-play role, we’re looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment without established processes. The ideal candidate will take full ownership and accountability of their work and have the ability to execute independently, while identifying and implementing process improvements along the way. 

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing mission-critical company financial, sales, operational, and product data to provide actionable business insights. You will also manage key KPI dashboards and analytics tools for decisionmakers, overseeing day-to-day reporting, analysis, and development of data visualizations to optimize company performance and ensure data integrity while helping align systems with business goals. Core financial responsibilities will include variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. A sharp eye for accuracy, strong business acumen, and a continuous improvement mindset are essential for success.   

While this position can be fully remote, we are looking for candidates to be residents of Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, New York, Florida, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, or Alabama only.

Essential Functions:

  • Reporting 
    • In collaboration with Tech and Operations, develop protocols and best practices for data cohesiveness, cleanliness, and quality, as well as appropriate use (ex: standardizing data uploads, list naming conventions, etc.) 
    • Deliver ad-hoc and recurring analytical reports to stakeholders across finance, sales, and leadership 

    • Support month-end close activities by providing necessary data, reconciliations, and analysis 

    • Prepare and distribute monthly financial and operational reports, including variance and trend analysis against budget and forecast 
    • ​​​​​​​Develop and maintain key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards to support business performance tracking and decision-making 
  • Forecasting & Planning 
    • Lead the monthly forecasting process in collaboration with functional leaders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business trends 

    • Support the annual budgeting cycle, including model development, assumptions gathering, and presentation of outputs 

    • Conduct scenario analyses to assess financial impact of strategic decisions and changes in market conditions 

    • Build and maintain financial models to support business planning, investment decisions, and performance analysis 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field  

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or sales operations 

  • Experience in CRM management including reporting and analytics, and CRM hygiene  

  • Experience in the Healthcare EdTech or related industries is a strong plus  

  • Persuasive verbal, written and interpersonal skills  

  • Outstanding listening skills and attention to detail   

  • Proficient in HubSpot or Salesforce, including workflows, reporting, and pipeline management (HubSpot certifications are a plus)  

  • Analytical mindset, ability to be self-sufficient with data analysis and to translate data into actionable insights  

  • Exceptional communication skills  

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities  

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)  

  • Familiarity with sales forecasting and territory planning tools  

  • Quick learner with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively  

  • Self-starter and results-oriented with the ability to focus on and meet deadlines   

  • Exceptional time-management, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
