About the position:

The Clinical Recruiter will develop relationships with new physicians and clinics to add to the AMO pipeline of medical, PA & nursing educational experiences. They will drive individual recruitment to generate leads and follow through until they are handed over to program operations. They will provide additional support to the recruiting team for hospital & other clinical recruitment efforts. This person will be working closely with our operations team to find replacement preceptors and our partnership team to help with school rotation needs. Must be someone who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment and who is ready to be a proactive member of an innovative team.  

While this position can be fully remote, we are looking for candidates to be residents of Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, New York, Florida, or Alabama only.

Essential Functions: 

  • This role requires operating in a sales/commissions driven environment, contacting physicians/clinicians (physicians, physician assistants, nurses, etc.), clinical sites, and their teams via email, phone or video conferencing to communicate to clinicians the benefit of precepting AMOpportunites trainees. This can include making cold calls when needed  

  • Must learn the “voice” of the recruitment team so all correspondence is at a consistent and professional level with other members of the team  

  • Ability to recognize when a lead should be sent to the intuitional recruitment team members 

  • Detailed understanding of the sales process pipeline, with demonstrated competence in driving new leads into the sales funnel  

  • Deep knowledge of and experience with CRMs (Hubspot preferred) and experience developing lead generation campaigns using a CRM (Hubspot training available)  

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential preceptors to ensure customer satisfaction and success for the operations team 

  • Guide medical contacts through AMO’s process from lead generation to onboarding 

  • Understand and customize recruitment best practices 

  • Creating new leads through the CRM system (Hubspot) and driving them to join as a preceptor/clinical training site  

  • Collect program information and prepare complete program data to be handed off to the program operations team 

  • Writing effective, strategic emails that hold weight. Content must be engaging to the audience of prospective and/or current preceptors 

  • Develop a high level of familiarity with the US medical and nursing education system and become an agile learner 

  • Collaborate with other AMO teams and serve as a resource regarding program information and availability 

  • Work closely with the operations team to recruit backup or replacement preceptors for existing programs when needed   

  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field 

  • Physician recruitment or clinical site acquisition experience strongly preferred 

  • Experience with Hubspot CRM or similar CRM strongly preferred 

  • Experience transitioning successful recruitment to onboarding team 

  • Experience managing multiple tasks   

  • Previous healthcare educational experience (clinical or medical education) 

  • Some understanding of clinical education market preferred 

  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup culture

  • Competitive base salary of $52,000 to $58,000 annually, with the ability to earn uncapped commissions to push your total compensation to $100,000+
