About the position: 

The Rotation Sales Specialist or “Advisor” is the first point of contact for prospective customers. They are responsible for advising and encouraging trainees to register for AMO experiences. Advisors are responsible for building their sales pipeline and processes from discovery to close. The Advisor will work across a variety of channels to connect with the potential visitor and provide the highest level of customer service. Advisors also partner with multiple departments to increase lead capacity through social channels and country or partner specific presentations. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Monitor and respond to emails, messages, support tickets, live chat leads, and texts of customers in a culturally sensitive manner.

  • Develop, maintain, and build a customer base on an existing platform including but not limited to HubSpot, WhatsApp, and Calendly  

  • Partner with other AMO team to qualify leads through customer engagement.

  • Develop familiarity with program listings and advise customers on best-fit programs  

  • Support in the training and development with support staff to identify leads and close sales  

  • Work with the marketing department to vet leads through social media channels  

  • Proactive outreach to incoming leads via email, phone, CRM, and LifeChat/Facebook  

  • Identify customer trends, provide feedback to management on customer preferences, demand, and pain points  

  • Document and track potential sales leads 

  • Build relationships with potential customers

  • Develop high-level familiarity with the U.S. and International Medical Education Systems  

  • Flexible to work on weekends and holidays 

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Understanding of healthcare and medical education terminology  

  • A high level of written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to think creatively

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Medical degree a plus) 

  • Previous experience in the healthcare or educational fields  

  • Administrative healthcare knowledge  

  • Experience selling  

  • Experience managing multiple tasks.  

  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup culture.  

  • CRM software experience is a plus.
